Yet another hockey blog focusing on the Sabres, but with the sassy spin of a female blogger.

As expected, Mikhail Grigorenko signed an entry level contract with the Buffalo Sabres this past Wednesday. Grigorenko’s 3-year deal at $1,750,00 per year is just $150,000 more than Zemgus Girgensons’ contract which he signed late last week. Given that Grigorenko is an extremely talented forward who was slotted to be...Read More...
Zemgus Girgensons, the second player drafted by the Buffalo Sabres in the 2012 draft, originally intended to go to college at the University of Vermont in the fall. The 18-year old center was drafted 14th overall, just two spots after Mikhail Grigorenko, another center. Given that Girgensons had committed to...Read More...
We are currently 31 hours into free agency and while the big names (Zach Parise, Ryan Suter, Shea Weber, Rick Nash, and Bobby Ryan to name a few) are still floating around as potential trades or unrestricted free agents, the Buffalo Sabres have made a few moves. After doing quite...Read More...

Today, the basement dwellers of the Buffalo Sabres variety occupied the Buffalo Sabres locker room for yet another Blogger Summit with Ted Black and various other Sabres personnel. Some blogs represented (and forgive me, because I will forget some of the fifteen others that were in attendance) were Die by the Blade, Black, Blue, and... Read More...
It’s the time of year where the Buffalo Sabres and Ted Black are holding another Blogger Summit. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept, I attended one earlier this year. Some topics that will almost certainly be on the discussion board are game presentation and atmosphere, season ticket holder perks, plans for canal side, free agency,... Read More...
“I was originally going to wait and see what was available on the free agent market. After the Sabres acquired my rights and I spoke with Terry Pegula and Darcy Regier, I did my due diligence on the team and I was very impressed. I called some former teammates and others in the NHL who also had great things to say and I was aware that Robyn Regehr had waived his no-trade clause in his contract this week to join the Sabres. My goal is to win the Stanley Cup, and after the offer I received from Buffalo, I believe this is the best place to make it happen.” — Christian Ehrhoff
