I’m a homegrown Buffalo sports addict – it comes with the territory of being born and raised in Buffalo, by fans (we’ll call them my parents). Empire Sports Network was the most common channel on the TV and to this day, I still remember Artie Baby Boo Boo and the lyrics to his intro.
My Sundays were spent in front of the TV, adjusting the rabbit ears, munching on Ruffles or Lays with Bison Dip and watching football. When it was hockey season, we were all plopped on the couch for the games and yes, generally all yelling at the TV at some point or another.
And then I grew up. I went “away” to college and graduated from Fredonia with a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education. With substitute teaching and graduate school being my only two commitments, I felt it was time to let my opinions roll. And thus, Sabres in Seven was born.
